For Grow Op 2014 we designed an installation that we called Flower Bomb, a piece suited for one of the Gladstone’s Public spaces.
“Flower Bomb is a weapon to defend life, to plant a new beginning, to bring colour and life.”
It’s an antithetical concept that uses the image and idea behind a grenade to promote a diametrically opposite idea; involving landscape to achieve it.
Instead of killing and destruction, Flower Bomb, promotes life and creation…..
The Installation would consist of cradles of Flower Bombs and a mini-landscape demo with grass and red flowers. Flower Bombs would be handed to the public for their own personal use.
