Pop(fear)

The word ‘Bomba’ in Spanish means both balloon and Bomb. With this in mind I created an interactive installation where the viewer was exposed to a series of balloons (in a confined circulation space) and was instructed to POP them.
Messages Inside the balloons (Fears): of being attacked, of ignorance, of appearances, of loosing power, of minorities of conspiracy, of God, of Evil, of being misunderstood, of being invaded, of loosing our jobs, of the economy, of failing, of traditions, of avant guards, of the communists, of revolutions, of the truth, of loving, of getting old, of being forgotten, of not being good enough, of poverty, of loosing power, of Muslims, of the unknown, etc.)
